The golf courses

We first applied to convert part of Greys Green Farm into a golf course in 1989.

As a result of bitter opposition from the parishes of Rotherfield Greys and Rotherfield Peppard and implacable opposition from South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC), there followed umpteen planning applications and two Public Inquiries (1991 and 2007).

Finally, in 2007, the latest application was granted on Appeal at a Public Inquiry.

For full details of the golf available, go to our golf web site.

Golf course layout

This plan shows the current layout of the three golf courses available.

These are public golf courses (pay and play) only. Absolutely no members.

Furthermore, the public are free to walk (with their dogs) over all of the golf land.

SODC

This cartoon appeared in a newspaper shortly after we got the news in 2007 that our Appeal had been successful.

We love it.
